Wow who would believe it a young man has fun with woman while nude in Las Vegas! It is so shocking that I nearly chocked on my morning museli and vomit up my coffee. What is the world coming too? 

The young man in question also takes his clothes off when in the company of a nubile young lady and worst of all drinks alcohol! The horror of it all and damnation will surely follow by the time the sunrises tomorrow.

Actually I am being cynical and ironic. Yes I know that you find this very hard to believe but hey when faced with rampant global warming, massive food shortage that will led to that poor raising up and fermenting revolution, a political leader in the US who really believes that women secret a fluid that stops the sperm of a rapist from impregnating the victim, and, best of all he sits on a committee for SCIENCE (stand up Todd Akin and take a bow), and, Greece about to be kicked out of the Euro, we are now faced with the problem of how to play strip billiards.

I have never heard of strip billiard. It does sound like a very long game to help youngsters to get over their inhibitions to get down and dirty. Obviously strip poker is a more agreeable game because the game is actually quite short, intimate and not so energetic as strip billiard.

Can you imagine the amount of stretching you have to do when playing strip billiards? The proverbial crown jewels will be exposed to the chalk dust and other harmful objects. The fact that Great Britain’s third in line to the throne was filmed participating in such activities is both amusing and somewhat disconcerting. 

It looks like Prince Harry won!

Amusing that he has friends that would exploit the situation to take photos and sell them to the media and disconcerting that he has friends that would do such things as filming him and selling it to the media. Where are MI6 when you need them? Back in the olden days the ‘traitor’ would have been disposed off for doing such things. Just think, you’re having fun with a guy that looks like a right old laugh and you betray him by selling pictures knowing that it will cause him major distress. What ever happened with the mantra  ”…what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas….”? The photographer is a tw*t!

Now that they have collected their 30 pieces of silver hopefully they can now go away and die under a rock in the Mojave Desert.

In the meantime if anyone can anyone explain to us the rules of strip billiards we would be grateful. We have already established the rules and regulations for strip poker which is the traditional game to help get over your inhibitions to get naked. Here they are as a recap:

1. At the start all players must have the same amount of clothes on. If for some reason it is not possible to have the same amount of clothes on then the player with least may get a by if they lose to not take an item off.

2. Normal poker rules apply and the losing players after each hand must take of an item of clothing

3. Once everyone has lost all their clothes the winner is the last person to take of their last item of clothing.

In fact we have tried and tested rules for reverse strip poker which is great for charity events:

Rule 1. – The contestant can be totally naked to start with.

Rule 2. – Knowing poker rules is advisable but not obligatory. The aim is to raise money for charity.

Rule 3. – Loads of alcohol can be consumed.

Rule 4. – Try and get as many items of clothing, the tighter the better.

Rule 5. – Make sure there is a disco on just in case it gets boring because the game has some tight players who miss the object of the exercise.

Rule 6. – In case of a split pot the two players have deemed to have lost and therefore the players must put on an item of clothing. Its not fair but who said Reverse Strip Poker was about fairness?

Rule 7. – The players must get a free cocktail for being good sports (nothing like a bit of ligging).

Rule 8. – If you lose to a Full House and above you must but a shoe on. There is no particular reason for this rule.

But now we need to get rules for strip billiard. In fact it would be a great idea to have rules for strip pool which on paper would probably be a bit quicker and less upmarket than strip billiards, just a thought?

Great news a PokerKnave supporter is going out to Las Vegas to hand over sheds loads of money in an attempt to make his pension fund a little better. He has therefore agreed to do something worthwhile in between handing over his cash and report back on the shenanigans at the WSOP 2012. His name is Grumps and he is a legend!

He is called Grumps because he moans like a howling wind through a cracked window frame. A former ‘soul boy’ he has developed into Alf Garnett’s long lost love child. He hates anything modern and that includes the internet. This should be interesting since his post will be made via the internet. 

His long suffering wife and kids will hopefully skip away and go and do something interesting and fun while Grumps continue to castigate the world for being ‘modern’. So it will be with great interest and a little trepidation to see what Grumps has done in Las Vegas

After a report from Marius and various views from some of the Poker Totty’s I am now in the middle of re-vamping the website as a Poker blogging engine, as well as a window into the world of fashion and glamour. This is to tie in with the 1st anniversary of the launch of pokerknave.com, and, hopefully this will make the use of the website much more easy to use and to utilise.

Although there is a relatively easy to read guide to playing Texas Hold Em, there is also a need to come up with a page for Omaha. Also, when it comes to writing about the lifestyle of a poker player there is a need to simplify the basic functions such as uploading pictures, video and other media stuff. Plus we need to add social bookmark buttons to make it easy to promote the blogs.

More links to modelling agency and casino’s would be an area of further interest as part of the PokerKnave Poker Klub, which believe or not is very difficult at the moment because we have a particular line (fun) with quite a prominently independent online presence (we do and say what we want).

On the fun side of poker playing it would be good for a definitive guide to playing strip poker – including reverse strip poker, with maybe a video to illustrate the tactics and the outcome of such a game. Not because I want to show copious amount of naked flesh (heaven forbid), but to help newby’s to this game have some sort of reference point to the game.

As for the area of live poker games there have been various enquiries about tipping within casino’s especially those located in Las Vegas. I have not been to Las Vegas, but I know that in the UK it is really hot issue with establishments especially restaurants using the tips as part of the wages, which was pretty standard. Quite clearly I am against this dubious practice and a definitive guide should be done on this subject.

Being a premier online poker blogging website it is clear that issues such as poker rake backs, cash backs, free roll tournament strategy and other such things need to be explained as this can lead to total confusion for the recreational players who can get confused by all these schemes. To tell you the truth it confuses me and I am minded to say where there is a scheme, there is a schemer! I will say no more.

The industry is changing and we will be changing to reflect this, however, we will never submit to anyone who want to us to be a straight forward poker, site we will always be eclectic, we will always be irreverent about the world of poker and also comment on other things which on the face of it have nothing to do with poker but as you know my view is life is a poker game just as silly and raw.
