Striker in France

We all know that the French love a strike so it does not come as a surprise when French poker players decided to strike over being charged extra because of the 2% tax by the French goverment on all rakes. I may sound like I am stereotyping but strike is what the french have done and seems to have done well.

They did this by occupying all the tables and not playing basically shutting down Pokerstars in France. Fair play to the French poker players and good luck on them. Direct action can be a pain to ordinary folks, but, in the end if a powerful organisation wants to impose more cost onto their customers then the customers do have a right to say no.

In a form of ‘cyber squatting’ the French consumers have demanded change of company policy and although noble does leave a question, ‘why don’t these French poker players just go and form an online poker commune’?

The French and communes go together like Pernod and water! The players could charge a much lower rake and all profits would belong to the members. This is the most sensible idea I have had in ages – I wonder if it will catch on?

In the meantime here is Brigitte Bardot in her sex kitten days when she was the fantasy of most French men and would have made a great Poker Totty.

No, I can’t play poker so that would be totally pointless playing strip poker because I would lose.

I’m a full time model.

What were the best modelling assignment and the worst assignment you have one as a model?
I’ve been lucky to have enjoyed most of my modelling assignments, but I’m not good in the cold, so my worst ones have probably been outdoor shoots when the weather isn’t too great!

It depends on my mood, as I write this I’m listening to David Gray; I like Anthony Hamilton a lot.

I love horses, I want to buy one this year, I also really enjoy interior design.

I’ll probably buy a young horse and complete its schooling myself, after I retire from modelling I would like to train horses so my next one will be a good project for me.

Catching up with friends when I have the chance, all my friends make me laugh a lot. I love travelling, good restaurants and bars that know how to make a killer cocktail.

Fresh berry flavours are my favourite, I also love mojitos.

I was playing poker at O’Gradys when this football incident happen and all hell broke loose. Chips went flying, teeth were gnashing and drinks was a flowing. Football is a new religion and although the commentary is in French I strangely could understand the shock and dismay in the broadcasters voices.

Its been estimated that the handball by Henry will cost the Irish government £100 million! if this is true, you cannot blame the Irish government for getting involved. however, I do feel they are looking for an inside straight flush draw to get a decision of a re-match – which will be astronomical odds and therefore very unlikely.
