Striker in France

We all know that the French love a strike so it does not come as a surprise when French poker players decided to strike over being charged extra because of the 2% tax by the French goverment on all rakes. I may sound like I am stereotyping but strike is what the french have done and seems to have done well.

They did this by occupying all the tables and not playing basically shutting down Pokerstars in France. Fair play to the French poker players and good luck on them. Direct action can be a pain to ordinary folks, but, in the end if a powerful organisation wants to impose more cost onto their customers then the customers do have a right to say no.

In a form of ‘cyber squatting’ the French consumers have demanded change of company policy and although noble does leave a question, ‘why don’t these French poker players just go and form an online poker commune’?

The French and communes go together like Pernod and water! The players could charge a much lower rake and all profits would belong to the members. This is the most sensible idea I have had in ages – I wonder if it will catch on?

In the meantime here is Brigitte Bardot in her sex kitten days when she was the fantasy of most French men and would have made a great Poker Totty.

Poker Totty Sky enjoying a poker win

There was a strip poker competition in Germany which attracted 54 players and went pretty well apparently! Since it was not well publicised I thought about having a strip poker video competition since most of our readers and interviewees will or would play strip poker. So first of all we must have rules and here are the basic strip poker rules.

1. At the start all players must have the same amount of clothes on. If for some reason it is not possible to have the same amount of clothes on then the player with least may get a by if they lose to not take an item off.

2. Once everyone has lost all their clothes the winner is the last person to take of their last item of clothing.

To enter our Strip Poker Video Competition all you have to do is be over 18! Check out our Facebook page or send a link to Jack Reynard. There will be a $100 for the best video/s.

Any rules about this competition shall be impartial and subject to our usual ToS. But as long as you are over 18, the video is original, and, funny then it will be accepted for the competition.

Instead of taking clothes off, you put them on and is ideal for charity nights and fund raising events. The only difference between strip and reverse strip poker is that there is no limit to the amount of clothes you can put on.

I’ve just started working in a couple of pubs – its a good laugh and stops me spending my money while still having fun!

How would you describe yourself physically?

Which designer do you admire?
I guess any of them for making it to ‘designer status’. I like a lot of stuff from alot of different collections, I’m more of a ‘last chance to buy’ at Topshop kinda girl though!

When did you decide that modelling maybe a career for you?
I had a bit of a rubbish end to 2009, so decided I would enter FHM’s High Street Honeys in January just to see what kind of feedback I got and it went well from the start, so I just decided from there that I’d see how far I can go and so far I’m loving it!

Who are your favourite models?
Hmm… Vikki Blows, or… maybe Keeley Hazell. Both stunning but in totally different ways!

What sort of music and artist do you like?
I like a lot of music… Okay, love music. i’ve got a totally eclectic taste and being a musician myself I have to have it in massive quantities and at high volume!
My favourite is probably rock… but I love my r’n'b as well.

Do you have any hobbies?
Yeah I love to play guitar and write my own music, and like to gig a lot. I love live music and theatre, and I’m a bit geeky so I love a good book or a game of something on the PlayStation!

What is your favourite entertainment?

Has to be music – anything with music involved and I’m there. But to be honest you can’t beat a trip to the pub with good company, a few pints, and a game or two of
killer pool!

I do love Italian food, but to be honest I love a lot of food. Anything with chicken and cheese is a winner in my opinion!

It would have to be the shoes, every time. They’re one of my few weaknesses!

Which city would you like to be in and why?
Well I’ve just moved back to the North East and I’m looking forward to spending some quality time in good old Newcastle… there are several places I’d love to be though, including Rome, Milan, New York… there’s a list!

Why is your daytime job worthwhile and glamourous?

I would say it worthwhile for the salary and glamourous because I arrange all the charity dinners and get to attend them for free!

My favourite designer would have to be Pussy Galores which is a boutique shop based in Cardiff in South Wales. I have lots of their dresses which I wear on nights out, weddings or to functions.

What has been happening on the modelling front?
Well I’ve loads of different work come in an have done promotional stuff too now… I’m the face of a new local company an I’ve done numerous shoots u can check out all new work on http://www.purestorm.com/MissDee_1

I update that as much as i can.. But otherwise all is going well right now… got different projects up and coming and i couldn’t be happier…

So things are going great on the modelling front have you been able to cope with the pressure?
Yeah it’s been ok… it took a while to get my confidence back and but I’m getting there… I’m a fighter and what has happened has made me stronger so normality has to be re stored..!

No i haven’t as of yet I’m not really interested in poker i think it may be because i cant get to grips with it haha… i have been told how to play it but can never take it all in haha

Do you know what if i knew someone that had patience and could help me then yeah i would definitely give it a go

What has been happening in your personal life?
Well I’ve had a pretty bad few months… i am actually going to be helping charities etc on domestic abuse soon and i am currently in the middle of a court trial… Its going to be a long process but i will get justice… so i will be working in the near future with domestic abuse organisations and units, to help women speak out and take this further..

My friends and family have always told me that I had a good face for the camera and I’ve been interested in modelling since I was 13 or 14. I kinda got into it a bit more when I was 16 and knew it was something to work towards.

I’m more into glamour models rather than catwalk models n I absolutely adore people like Keeley Hazell & Sophie Howard.

What sort of music and artist do you like?
I’ll listen to pretty much any kind of music as long as it’s got a good rhythm n I can dance to it! I’m really into dance tunes at the moment.

Apart from taking pictures of myself? Haha… I’m really into my fitness because I did use to be a size 16-18 and I’ve got myself down to a size 8-10 so I really just maintain that and eat healthily.

It wasn’t as hard as people think it is… I mean it was hard at first but once I got into the whole replacing choccy and running or walking instead of being driven places it was more fun than it was a chore… & losing my virginity also helped a lot haha

I love being naked and dancing around my flat! Haha. It’s always good to be as nature intended you to be.

12. Which city would you like to be in and why?

I’d have to say… Las Vegas! I’m not much of a gambler but I do love a good old game of cards with some risky business involved haha! But more than just cards I’d have to say cos of the lights as well! My Dad always used to tell me off for having loads of lights on in the house.

I’ve been lucky to have enjoyed most of my modelling assignments, but I’m not good in the cold, so my worst ones have probably been outdoor shoots when the weather isn’t too great!
