John McCain Online Poker
It was apt for John McCain to be playing online poker while the US government work out the reason to give Assad of Syria a ‘bloody nose’.
For it is clear that President Obama is looking to raise the stakes for the Syrian government and hopefully get rid of the present Syrian government and hopefully replace it with a government that will be friendly to the West and not Russia.
In so doing Obama could be unleashing the forces of religious intolerance and make matters worst, with a new government that will not be friendly to the West and especially Israel.
Also, it bodes well that there will be at least one politician who will support the push for online poker in the US.
But these are trivial matters when it is possible that the US may face Russia in a relaunch of the ‘Cold War’. If there has been a gas attack in the Syrian civil war then those who perpetrated it must be warned off. If they do not get an attack which close down the military option for gas attack then watch how quickly terrorist organisations will use gas in their campaign.
