Well it is all coming to a head. Sepp Blatter is in a struggle for his life and it is a battle that he will lose if all goes to plan.

Apparently, if FIFA vote for Sepp Blatter to be president, then UEFA which is the governing body for European football will boycott the next World Cup! Imagine that Germany, Spain, England, Holland, France  and others not in the World Cup! Just the thought of it would be a disaster for football and football finances.

This all stems from the scandal of the FBI arrest of FIFA officials around the world for corruption and money laundering. Putin has jump to Sepp Blatter defence saying the US is doing this as part of US foreign policy to impose sanctions on Russia. Taking the World Cup from Russia would be major.

Today we will see who wins because a World Cup of just Brazil and Argentina would be rubbish.
