Glastonbury On Hippy Vibe Clash

Kanye West

Kanye West

On a weekend of bad news, which included a friend of a friend being killed on a beach in Tunisia – more of that later. It was funny to see Kanye West on TV trying to persuade a sceptical audience that he was the biggest rock star on the planet.

The over lit stage looked like a stage that would do with some musicians. real musicians. I know the weekend hippies can be sanctimonious to a unbelievable level, with Glastombury being the cathedral and the cup final for weekend hippydom, but sometimes plying instruments add to the entertainment of a music show.

With Kanye West it was hip hop electronic plus. Nothing wrong in that but I would have thought that more people being spontaneous with electronic equipment would have been  interesting. Anyway, it clearly upset the 4×4 driving, lentil eating, Starbuck frequenting, Tory voting, weekend hippie and that is fine by me.

As the facts of the Tunisian beach shooting comes out a friend of  friend was told of the personal tragedy. This put a damper on things as it bring home the seriousness of what these religious nutjobs are up to. They basically want to turn  Tunisia into a failed state and then replace it with  belief system in which education and industry goes backward. A form of anti-evolutionary process based on technology developed by the US and Nato military industrial complex.

We know how this will end, remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Why would developed nations allow themselves to be brought down by medieval superstition and practices?

The leaders of this movement will welcome this, and, so they should being a death cult. However, there should be enough sensible men and women who will see behind this nonsense and hopefully challenge the reason why you should blow yourself up.
