2017 has claimed another legend. Fats Domino the big man who used his size as a marketing tool died two days ago. Forever remembered for the classic Blueberry Hill, he shaped modern music linking classic boogie woogie style with jazz with modern soul and rhythm and blues.
Here is a poem as a tribute to his classic Blue Monday.
Blue Monday
33 empty glasses seems like a warning sign
On our weekend our should be renamed
Thing to happen will having a good time
To the courtroom we should be ashamed
Looks like the judge will be a game
Great food in jail history second to none
Justice is calling my name
Did they passed me one
Soul, doo wop so hard to beat
More than music to the ear
To remind you that you are great
See the boss more than once
Another blue Monday
Planning next weekend dance
