| If you want to lose friends then play them at poker and win! Some people just cant play the game then get upset when they lose due to bad hand calling. These same people expect you to lose so that they can feel better – well sorry that is just stupid and immature. You should not play unless you are prepared to lose as the game is all about getting the right cards at the right time and getting rid of the wrong cards before they cost you a load of money.
Just as in life you play it with the best strategy you have, I once had two pairs 9’s and 6’s with a 10 I was all in and my rival had a pair of 10’s and he had gone all in guess what, yep he pulled the other 10 – I was out of the game right at the beginning of the tournament. Yes I was upset but got over it when a barmaid flashed me a smile and pulled me the perfect pint. You see I could have got very bitter about losing to a mug player but that is what life is all about, luck and bad strategy. |
