Art student, promoter and model Laura Godwin aka Pixie is making a name for herself down in the lovely South West of England in the music and art field. However, as you will see from her interview her strip poker skills are raising a few eyebrows because she seems to be winning far too often. Welcome Poker Totty Pixie!
Do you play Texas Hold ‘Em or Omaha?
A little Texas Hold’Em nothing compares to good old strip poker though.
Do you have a strategy for winning at strip poker?
To be honest I don’t have a strategy but everyone is always down to there boxers before me haha I think I just have a natural talent with the cards.
Do you have any videos of your strip poker games and would you share them?
No don’t have any videos all kept behind closed doors “What happens in strip poker stays!”
What is your daytime job?
I have gone back to being an Art student this year and also pulling pints at a pub not very exciting but wanting to learn to fire breathing.
What’s ‘fire breathing’?
Fire breathing- I have always thought it looks amazing, it is an act of creating a large flame with your mouth. It originated from India and it is an ambition of mine to learn!
How would you describe yourself physically?
Legs11!!
Which designer do you admire?
Seeing as I study fashion I have many, but at the moment part of my work is based around good old Vivienne Westwood however only love her new collections and got to love Paul’s Boutique for his amazing bags and clothing range!
When did you decide that modelling maybe a career for you?
When I was in school it was all I wanted to do I wasn’t the prettiest in school but I was determined I’d go for it had my first shoot in London that my aunt took me to, just do it for fun though.
Who are your favourite models?
I love Miss Katie Price despite lots of mix views on her she’s just a normal girl that did well for herself, I also adore Sabina Kelley she is an alternative model but drop dead gorgeous!
What sort of music and artist do you like?
I listen to a whole mixture but I do love my metal, hardcore bands as I do band promotion for Crypt of the Locust based in Bristol.
Why is Crypt of the Locust good?
It is the band promotion I work for, the amazing owner Paul Goddard that puts time and effort into putting on bands getting people having a really good night and also helping up and coming bands. Do you have any hobbies?
I horse ride a lot have my own horses at home been riding since I was 2, however partying and other things get in the way of it more these days. I also enjoy kick boxing my arm muscles are impressive 😉 going to the gym and just friends.
How long have you been kick boxing?
I used to do loads when I was younger along with karate then it stopped when I was 14 and now I have just started back at it. Got to say haven’t lost my touch and amazing for stomach muscles!!!
What is your favourite entertainment?
Love going to watch bands perform, and love festivals with close mates.
Which cuisine do you prefer?
Got to be Italian
If you had a choice would it be a Prada handbag or a Jimmy Choo shoes?
I have a big bag obsession but because I have loads anyway id choose the jimmy Choo shoes.
Which city would you like to be in and why?
I would love to be in Melbourne love it there loads but to far away for me at the moment so id choose Bath its close to everything I need good night life in Bristol and my boyfriend would be a lot closer.
