Nicola Sturgeon is about to lead Scotland into a future on its own. The UK will be dismantled within 5 years and it will be blamed on David Cameron who decided that his party was more important than his country.
Obviously he will have his own spin on the break up of the UK but the evidence will show that the morning he decided to renege and decry the post-referendum result with is duplicitous speech outside Number 10 began the drive for Scotland to get away from London rule and try some other political regime.
Will the Queen be happy? I dont think so.
Obviously David Cameron was looking for the Scottish Nationalist to wipe out Labour in Scotland and for him to wipeout the LibDems in the South West of England and UKIP to do damage to Labour in the North of England. However, the Labour party is surviving the right wing media onslaught and UKIP have reached their natural level under ‘First Past The Post’ electoral system, in which they may get more votes than the Liberal Democrats but only gain a possible 1 seat, while the Liberal Democrats get at least 20 seats.
This has been a woeful election by the Conservatives who has concentrated on negative campaigning and an unholy alliance with the SNP. In fact all parties have been woeful and this has left the door open for Nicola Sturgeon to grab the limelight and position herself as the ‘most valuable player’ in this election. She was manfully helped by a dumbass tactic by the Conservative strategist who always thought that calling Ed Miliband a geek who cannot eat a sandwich was enough to win a general election.
Churchill once said that the Battle of El Alamein was ‘…. not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.’ This will be applied to the Election 2015 if the SNP gain anything like 50 seats in Scotland. If they reach this dizzy heights they will have to go for a second referendum before 2020 to gain total independence and there is nothing the rest can do to stop it!
