From Monday onwards I will be doing a ‘Daily Digest’ of the news and views that tickle my somewhat juvenile sense of humour. A look at the world through the eyes of the British and International press which sometimes can be amusing as well as informative.
What has this got to do with Poker you may ask? Believe it or not a lot. I have found that people’s view of the world determines their style of play; the most obvious is some men’s attitude to female poker players. I still know guys who hate to be beaten by a woman, and, these are not geriatric dinosaurs but young lads. If this can affect the way a guy plays what about other subtle foibles and nuances.
Anyway enough of the pop psychology you can only write so much about bad beats and ‘winning strategy’ therefore I will do my ‘Daily Digest’ in the form of a podcast – which will either make you happy at my amateurish attempts at presenting or make you want to throw up. So I look forward to assaulting your earlobes next week.
