Teófilo Stevenson v Muhammad Ali would have been the fight of the century. Two good looking boxers at the peak of their powers in mortal combat to prove that they are the best boxer in the world.
However the complications of politics and finances conspired to make sure they never met. With the ability of hindsight it would be churlish to say Ali would have won because of the superior training and technique.
The death of Stevenson will only prolong the debate and so it should as the fighter exudes class. Here is a video of him in his prime.
