WSOP 2013: Event 1

Chad Holloway wsop 2013

Chad Holloway

Chad Holloway wins the first event at the WSOP 2013. The fact that he is not really a casino employee did not make a difference that the event was apparently open to casino workers. Chad Holloway is senior editor for a magazine? Maybe I am being pedantic but when is a magazine classed as a casino?

I suppose the fact that magazines are usually a device to entice players to a casino do make them employees of a casino. Here at pokerknave.com we are truly independent and therefore would not be eligible for this tournament, I think but I am not sure!??

Apart from this little excitement nothing has really happened except The Magical Tipster getting stuffed after piling on Dawn Approach in The Epsom Derby, and, losing money when his ante – post bet in The Epsom Oaks was pulled out.

Back to the poker, we will report any interesting things that happen and hopefully some drama will exist….you never know. Here is the final result for the first event.
