Über Poker Totty Christina Lindley takes time out of her busy schedule to do an interview for PokerKnave.com. An actress, model, charity campaigner and professional poker player – her next film is ‘’Miss March’’ (due for release March 13th , 2009).
Christina must have the energy of Usain Bolt and the mind of Albert Einstein to keep up her work load and still maintain her standard of play on the poker tables. As a fellow poker player I take my hat off to a true poker legend.
Do you play Texas Hold ‘Em or Omaha?
Hold ‘Em mostly, getting better at Omaha.
What was your biggest win?
Either the 14th place at the Mariani/Buss Invitational at Legends of Poker in 08, or a charity event I did for Last Chance for Africa. (http://www.lastchanceforafrica.org/)
What is your daytime job? (such a dumb question to ask – Editor!).
I am an actress/model by day and pokerplayer at night (laughter) 🙂
How would you describe yourself physically?
I’m a girl, and I have blond hair. How’s that? 🙂
Which designer do you admire?
Well, I have always been partial to Guess and Marciano, and recently
came across a really cute poker line I love called Just Bluff Clothing http://www.justbluff.com/
If you had a choice would it be modelling or poker as a career?
Wow, If I had to choose one, I’d say poker. I can play that
until I die. Who wants to see a 75 year old model
Who are your favourite models?
Always loved Bridget Bardot, Cindy
Crawford, Kristy Brinkley, and now probably my favourite model is
Laetitia Casta.
What sort of music and artist do you like?
I love hip hop, rock, country, classics, pretty much everything. Right now fresh home from my trip to Tunica for the WSOP circuit event at Harrah’s, I am into Blues because we hit up Beale Street so many times!
Do you have any hobbies?
Yes. I love riding horses, playing poker at home games, writing,
traveling, bowling, football, basketball, huge sports buff.
What is your favourite entertainment?
Poker of course 🙂
Which cuisine do you prefer?
Seafood and Mexican are probably my two favourite types of cuisine.
If you had a choice would it be a Prada handbag or a Jimmy Choo shoes?
Definitely the handbag.
Which city would you like to be in and why?
Well, It is a tossup. I love living in Los Angeles, and I enjoy
escaping to go home to Nashville. They are exact opposites, yet they have both made me who I am today. Hmmmm….does that make me a little bit Dr. Jekyll / Ms Hyde? (great laughter)
Christina thanks for doing this interview.
Cheers
