Sometimes during a poker game the banter can be fun and even when you lose it really dosen’t make a difference. We had a game of poker last night that was so topsy turvey the if you felt you had the weakest hand it didn’t matter because you would win anyway.
I suppose it is the poker gods way of teaching us that the game has a large element of chance and because you know the odds dosen’t mean your odds will come good.
All the dominating hands lost when it matter last night and some were so funny that if you didn’t laugh you would end up not playing poker ever again.
When this is allied with the downing of large amounts of alcohol then it can be a borderline case where people could take the bad beats to heart, however, everyone saw the funny side of it all and the game ended as it began with Ace diamond and Jack of hearts being beaten by jack of diamond and a 2 of hearts. Gazooks! What can one say….?
