Yes I do play Texas Hold ‘Em a lot at least once a week.

What was your biggest winnings at poker?

To date my biggest win at poker has been 150€ but i am about to start entering bigger poker tournaments as my confidence is rising and i feel my poker skills are improving. I love playing poker.

What is your daytime job?

I am a actor and up and coming TV presenter. I am also a professional fire breather.

How did you get into fire breathing?

I have always had a fascination with fire since I was younger and seen a fire performer. I decided to seek out someone to learn this art and have never looked back I love performing and putting on a show and creating an illusion of danger.

How would you describe yourself physically?

I am very fit, I go to the gym and am a qualified black belt instructor.

Which artists do you admire?

I like a variety of acts from around the world in the performing arts scene I love Cirque du Soleil and in the acting world I like Brad Pitt and Jet Li.

When did you decide that modelling or performance maybe a career for you?

When I was very young I love being in front of a crowd and the camera. I love the whole experience and the buzz you get from creating something for people to see.

Who are your favourite models?

I don’t have any particular favourites when I comes to models I just no its a hard job and I take my hat off to anyone who does it.

What sort of music and artist do you like?

I enjoy al kinds of music depending on my mood. I like dance, rap, dubstep, heavy metal anything that you can bop your head to. my favourite artists would be Armin van Buuren, Snow Patrol, Tiësto, Skrillex and Eminem.

Do you have any hobbies?

Yes I always out and about, I love martial arts, hill and mountain climbing and the alternative scene tattoos and piercings.

Can you tell us more about the alternative tattoo and piercing scene?

I myself love tattoos and piercing I have a good number myself. I love the creativity and variety and the artist nature of putting unique pieces of art on your body. I believe with tattoos that I leave my mark on the world and the world leaves it mark on me. It is sometimes a misrepresented art and some people will judge the ink on your skin not the person you are but I think the stigma that surrounds tattoos and piercings is changing and in the future it will be an everyday thing.

What is your favourite entertainment?

Because I am so into fire I love watching a fire show being performed its amazing and I love the reaction of the crowd as the flames get bigger.

Which cuisine do you prefer?

I love Chinese food I think it is really taste and I love the variety of it. I love trying new foods from around the world also.

If you had a choice would it be a Prada handbag or a iPhone?

Definitely the iPhone, I don’t think a bag would suit me ha, ha.

Which city would you like to be in and why?

I love travelling the world there are some amazing places to see things to do and people to meet. I would most prefer to be somewhere in America I haven’t really been and would love to get to see all 50 states.

Does it really matter? Well yes and no. Yes it matters because standards matters. However, it could be no because language is always evolving and evolving for the better. That;s why evolution usually works. Ultimately it is about the survival of the fittest but the nature of survival has changed. 

People earn vast amounts of money by not making things but by dreaming things. There has always been dreamers but they were either poor or amazingly powerful because they became leaders with a mission. There was very little middle rank you either became a court jester or Napoleon Bonaparte. 

Today you can become a well paid functionary. Not very creative but has ability to hold a paint brush. The real talent is being in the right place at the right time. So evolution has created an environment where you can get paid for play acting on a film. You can kick a round bag of wind around a bit of green space and be paid vast amounts of money for doing so. 

There are functionary players earning £5,000 per week and they are not great players. In fact there are players playing park football who are better than them. The player in the park is unlucky not to be earning £5,000+ for kicking a football about. So how poems develop and progress has now become a hot cultural topic. Some love standard grammar to play a bigger part in the development of the English language. Almost standardize the whole language. No longer having the ability to evolve differently.

Then there are some that are saying technology will change the language and it already has. The way we communicate has amplified the language that people use to communicate it is a mixture of English, personalised grammar and emotional intelligence. Now text speak records the real way people communicate. That is what has shocked the language elites. They do not want the way people actually talk and communicate but wish to impose a ‘correct’ way of communicating so as to impose their view on how society runs. It is a very complex social dynamics which is shaping the world we live in today.

It is very interesting to see how the battle of ideas will win. Clearly world revolution has to happen after the banking crisis. You cannot privatise profits and socialise losses. That is not a way to run society. So this revolution has already started and it is being done via technology which captures the true way people communicate. Is this revolution going to be a slow fizz or a big bang? I’m not sure but my hunch is for a big bang. What sort of big bang…that’s where I am lost.

Usain Bolt wins

First of all you cannot win them all and The Magical Tipster went for it big time and got stuffed! He made the call that Usain Bolt would be beaten in the showcase race, the 100 meters. When Usain Bolt crossed the line many people broke into cheers and laughter after the ‘wizard of betting odds’ came up short. Ah well, the guy has done us proud this year with many big hits at really lovely prices so he can have the occasional loser. If he didn’t then the bookies would probably have him shot.

Also, now with the Olympics are half way to being done. It is clear that this ‘thing’ is the best thing to have happened to this country for a very long time. After last year with the celebration of a royal marriage which basically reaffirmed that we live in a class ridden society, followed by riots and mayhem by idiotic and repulsive individuals who have followed the politicians, business and community leaders in forgetting that ‘robber baron’ capitalism is not everyone’s cup of tea and only leads to resentment. We have, thanks to Mitt Romney and the athletes one of the best reasons for feeling good and happy.

Yes Mitt Romney rubbishing Great Britain’s ability to organise the Olympics was the shot in the arm for everyone that was ambivalent to the whole ‘Olympic Experience’. I myself had called it the Olympic Omnishambels  and was not looking forward to the potential of a massive loss of face for the nation. Then came Mitt the Twit, and like a electric shock administered by a defibrillator the country decided that the numpty was not going to piss on our parade, and thank god so did the athletes who in a hop, skip and jump came up with some amazing performances which sealed it for the nation. If he wins the election in November, I will truly eat the proverbial hat.

So now that it has been proven that the UK can organise a big party of sport, entertainment and fun in a typical British quirky style (cannot forget the brilliant Danny Boyle mixture of politics, humour and fun in the opening ceremony), the talk is about legacy. It cannot be ignored that the Labour party sorted out the games and the Coalition government made it work so all sides of the political spectrum can claim credit for this most excellent way of uniting the country. If only we can do this about other things such as not selling off the NHS to rich and powerful people and bringing back the coal mines and engineering to Britain. But we will leave this debate till after the games.

While we were jumping around and joining the fun of watching men and women at the pinnacle of human fitness NASA my favourite state sponsored organisation landed a ‘giant tractor’ called Curiosity, on Mars. This is brilliant as I love to watch pictures from NASA while playing online poker as it relaxes me and get me to think mathematically. Also, it is one damn fine endeavour to see a machine built on Earth moving around another planet doing scientific research. As can bee seen in the video the men and women at NASA were also happy that their $2.5 billion punt had not gone by the wayside.

With money flying around over ‘Black Friday’ (when the FBI shut down 3 major online poker rooms in May 2011), and money laundering charges are being settled ($731m has been agreed so far between the US Justice department and Pokerstars and Full Tilt), it is finally good to see that the US is getting the poison out of their system before they legalise online poker and sports betting.

Those who are against online poker and sports betting on the internet may feel that  I am jumping the gun, but, in my view the darkest hour always come before the dawn and ‘Black Friday’ was online poker darkest hour. We learnt that players money was not safe, online poker was/is perfect for money laundering and the US legislators are silly if they think they can hold back online poker.

Yes the legislators will also have to regulate online poker because if a punter deposit money into a website they should not have to worry about getting their own money back. Obviously those who believe that self-regulation works will be in a state of revulsion over my argument, but, it is clear that regulated betting opportunities are needed because gambling attracts all sorts or weird and wonderful people.

In the meantime while the US slowly but surely realise they cannot play at being King Canute of online poker please take a look at Nicole and ask yourself the question, would you like to teach her poker?

Also the battle between The Magical Tipster and Villain is in full swing with Villain putting up a strong and relentless run but the Magical Tipster keeps on pulling another winner out of the bag. The latest bets are up and should be interesting to see if both tipsters can come up with some winning magic in the next two days.

Good news for all those online poker players who got their accounts and therefore money, frozen!  $184m  is going to be refunded in total and thats quite a bit of cash in these slow economic environment. The grief for Ray Bitar the former CEO of Full Tilt will continue as it does for 10 other people. Ray Bitar  could get a lengthy sentence if convicted.

The players who will get this timely refund will no doubt be grateful that this settlement has occured and at least Ray Bitar got this out of the way.  How quick will the punters get their money from the FBI and Full Tilt? Hopefully not too long as I suspect they will only get back cash that was in the account with no interest. Ah well something is always better than nothing.
